Room 2's visit to Youth Town

Room 2 were learning about "Art Alive".   As part of our studies we visited "Youth Town" and learned

how to paint amazing colourful flowers.  We would like to share this experience with you.

Room 2 visited the gymnasium.  This is a photograph of Simon swinging from the bars.  He did very well and was our demonstration person in room 2.  Simon showed everyone how to do their routines at the gymnasium.

Room 2 Visits Life Education Caravan

Room 2 visited Harold in the Life Education caravan. Room 2 got to say hello to Harold the giraffe and to chat with his friend Jocko on the telephone.  They wanted to help Jocko have a healthy birthday party.  So they gave him lots of ideas. They learned  about healthy eating
and strong bodies.  Please watch our video and then you can also learn about healthy eating and
the food pyramid.

Simon's Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.

Simon wrote the following about his medals.  At the Olympics the competitors play for gold, silver and bronze medals.  They are so good that they win gold medals.  Valerie Adams won a silver medal for shot put. Words gifted by teacher.
